সাভার পৌর এলাকায় শিক্ষার্থীকে নির্জন স্থানে নিয়ে জোরপূর্বক ধর্ষণের ঘটনায় সাভার মডেল থানায় নারী ও শিশু নির্যাতন দমন আইনে মামলা দায়ের করা হয়। ভুক্তভোগীর পরিবারের অভিযোগ, মামলা দায়েরের পর দীর্ঘ সময় অতিবাহিত হলেও এজাহারভুক্ত কোনো আসামিকে গ্রেপ্তার করতে পারেনি পুলিশ। অবিলম্বে আসামিদের গ্রেপ্তার ও বিচারের দাবি জানিয়েছে পরিবার।
