ঈশ্বরদী উপজেলার আওতাপাড়া পশুর হাটে গরু বিক্রি করে ভটভটিতে বাড়ি ফেরার পথে রূপপুর বাইপাস মোড়ে পৌঁছালে মোটরসাইকেল আরোহী চার ছিনতাইকারী তাদের গতিরোধ করে। ব্যবসায়ীর চোখে মরিচের গুঁড়ো ছিটিয়ে এবং ধারালো হাঁসুয়া দিয়ে আঘাতের ভয় দেখিয়ে ব্যাগে থাকা ৪ লাখ ২০ হাজার টাকা ছিনিয়ে নিয়ে ঈশ্বরদী শহরের দিকে পালিয়ে যায়। ঈশ্বরদী থানায় মামলা তদন্তাধীন।
