রাজধানীর মতিঝিল আইডিয়াল স্কুল ও এজিবি কলোনি সংলগ্ন পাইকারি স্টেশনারি মার্কেটের ব্যবসায়ী সমিতির অফিসে গিয়ে ৫ লাখ টাকা চাঁদা দাবি করে স্থানীয় একদল সন্ত্রাসী। চাঁদার টাকা না পেয়ে মার্কেটের সামনে রাতে দুটি ককটেল বিস্ফোরণ ঘটিয়ে আতঙ্ক সৃষ্টি করা হয়। মতিঝিল থানায় বিস্ফোরক উপাদানাবলি আইন ও চাঁদাবাজির ধারায় মামলা হয়েছে।
