বেনাপোল চেকপোস্ট ও স্থলবন্দর এলাকায় ভারতগামী ও ভারত থেকে আসা পণ্যবাহী ট্রাক থেকে জবরদস্তিমূলকভাবে ১০০০ থেকে ১৫০০ টাকা পর্যন্ত অবৈধ টোকেন ফি আদায় করছিল একটি স্থানীয় দালাল সিন্ডিকেট। সিঅ্যান্ডএফ এজেন্ট অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের লিখিত অভিযোগের ভিত্তিতে বেনাপোল পোর্ট থানা পুলিশ অভিযান চালিয়ে ৩ চাঁদাবাজকে আটক করে।
